New Year, new income?

You’ve already done the hard part; creating your brand and its content, take some stress off by creating a few new sources of income.

Become an affiliate partner

Affiliate marketing is one of the most used methods by bloggers.

This approach consists of a tracked link being placed on your blog. When a reader clicks the link, they are redirected to the product’s website. You will only make a small commission if the reader purchases said item through your link, unless the merchant is operating on a pay per click basis then you will get paid when your reader visits their website through your link.

Most eCommerce sites have an affiliate program of some sort, most notably Amazon, ASOS, eBay, Fiverr etc. They can be casually incorporated through sampling a product/ service and writing up a review.

Banner ads

Banner ad spaces can be sold to brands that corelate to your readers and their interests.

Revenue can be earned with this method through different ways, the first is CPC (cost per click). This means that you will get a payment every time the ad is clicked upon. In 2020, the average payment for Ireland was .60 cent.

Another avenue of receiving revenue is CPM (cost per thousand). This means you will be paid for every 1000 impressions. You get to negotiate a set price for every 1,000 impressions, averages depend on the platform you’re operating on. Facebook ads average $8.60, Twitter ads average $6.46, Pinterest ads average $30, Google Search Ads average $38.40!

Create a membership online community/ course

Membership courses and communities means people are joining through a subscription service. In order to maintain a sustainable recurring revenue, you must have strong customer relationships.

Be sure to include addition services on top of the subscription as the majority of transactions of subscription communities and courses relate changes to existing subscriptions like renewals, suspensions, add-ons, upgrades etc.

Skill sharing today is more digital than ever and with people favouring this method, the avenues to monetising your skills with digital content are on the rise. Creating an online community or course can be as simple as exclusive tutorials, video recordings or voiceovers on top of presentations.

An extra income especially in this pandemic climate is somewhat essential. Why not go for it? If you’re an expert in a certain skill and have a potential audience why not create an online course, we can make it happen for you here at BrandedCourses! Contact us here.
